How do I cancel?

Open your Account page and click “Manage subscription”. That opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel in one click. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period — no fuss.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

EverGuard stops scanning new emails. All your local data (sender overrides, stats, audit log) stays on your PC. You can uninstall the app any time, or keep it installed and re-activate later.

Does it slow my PC down?

No. Email scanning happens only when new emails arrive (a few seconds each, on the OpenAI/Anthropic side, not your CPU). Maintenance scans (disk, startup, shortcuts) run only when you open them.

Will EverGuard work with New Outlook for Windows?

Right now EverGuard supports Classic Outlook. New Outlook for Windows uses a different API and we’re working on that next. Gmail and IMAP support is on the roadmap too.

Is EverGuard an antivirus?

No. EverGuard is focused on email protection and PC hygiene. Microsoft Defender is the best free antivirus you can have on Windows — we don’t try to replace it. Leave it turned on.

How is my data protected?

We send the email subject, sender, recipient, trimmed body (first 4,000 + last 1,200 chars) and link domains to the classifier. The verdict is stored in a local audit log on your PC. The backend sees nothing beyond your licence key + usage counters. See the Privacy page for details.

Can I use it on multiple PCs?

Each subscription covers one PC. If you have a desktop and a laptop, get in touch — we’ll sort out a friendly two-device price.
